Gregg Hymowitz. Gregg is a Managing Partner of EnTrust Capital, a role he has filled since April 1997, and is currently the Chair
of the EnTrust Capital Diversified Fund Investment Committee. He is also a managing member of EnTrust Securities LLC. Before he launched
EnTrust, Gregg spent time as a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co., which he joined in 1992. Prior to his stint at Goldman Sachs,
Gregg was involved in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
In 2008, Gregg's work with EnTrust was recognized at the sixth annual InvestHedge Awards, which honor risk adjusted performances in the global funds of funds universe; EnTrust was nominated as the Institutional Firm of the Year. In 2009, EnTrust was also nominated for a Hedge Fund Industry Award as the Fund of Hedge Funds Leader of the Year.
Gregg Hymowitz graduated Cum Laude from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctorate, and received a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1987. Gregg was the 1985 Harry S. Truman Scholar from New York and was also recognized as a 1987 British Hansard Society Scholar. He now serves as a Trustee of the Riverdale Country Day School.
Active in the political arena, Gregg served as the National Co-Chair of Congressman Richard Gephardt's 2004 Presidential Campaign. In 2001, Gregg was invited to present his insights into capital markets to the US House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services. Gregg has also been a regular on-air contributor to CNN, Fox News, and CNBC on financial issues.
In 2004 Gregg Hymowitz was honored by the Governor's Committee on Scholastic Achievement for his work towards promoting academic excellence in New York City, through creative curriculum beginning at the elementary and pre-school levels. Gregg also serves as a trustee of the Hymowitz Children's Education Foundation, which works to enhance children's programs and is a sponsor of the New York Knicks Poetry Slam Program.
Gregg Hymowitz operates the Rose Hill Farm in Bridgehampton, NY, which offers equestrian facilities for local horse enthusiasts.
